Squarespace to WordPress migration

Squarespace is a good place to start, but it is a rented platform. As a business grows, the limits start to show: templates you cannot fully change, limited control over SEO and page speed, fewer integrations, and a monthly fee that never goes away. With WordPress you own the site, choose your own hosting, and can add almost any feature you need.

Moving also opens the door to proper local and national SEO work, faster pages and custom forms or booking systems that Squarespace cannot easily do.

Squarespace's own export covers blog posts and basic pages, but not everything. Styling, many content blocks, galleries, products and forms need handling by hand. I move your pages, posts, images and products, rebuild the design in WordPress to match or improve on what you have, and recreate forms and integrations.

The most important part is protecting your search rankings. Squarespace uses its own address patterns, such as /blog/ for posts, so I map every old address to its new one and set up permanent redirects. Titles and descriptions are carried over, and I check Google Search Console after launch to catch anything missed. I can also handle moving your domain.
